Our lovely Old Church has been going since Saxon times, but the current 13th century building is leaking in several places and the roof and belfry need extensive repairs. The Friends committee has to raise £10,000 to enable The Churches Conservation Trust carry out this specialist work to make the church waterproof again and set it up for the village to continue to enjoy it into the future.

We have to raise this money urgently so that the CCT can get the tendering process under way in order to start the repair work in the spring and finish during the summer months. Every month waiting, risks more damage to the timbers and structure of the church. Once watertight, we can address the internal re-decoration work.

Fundraising events will be held every month, starting with a Table Top Sale on Saturday 19th November, 10am-2pm in the Orpen Hall, and then Mulled Wine and Mince Pies in the Old Church on Sunday 11th December 12-2.30pm. We hope to see you there!
