Hiking for the heroes of the hills. Saving lives in the mountains, all voluntary workers. Picture is off the team helping my mum of the mountains
Myself and my eight year old son will be doing the "High 5s " climbing Meelbeg , Meelmore , Bernagh , Donard and Commedagh on the 30th of April.
Half the money raised will be donated to the mountain rescue, who six years ago helped my mum who was 59 at the time as she fell on the top of Donard. They helped her get down to the saddle and helped her safely get air lifted off the mountain.
