Weʼre raising £100 to support Loose Ends. This charity is focused on serving hot food to the homeless and providing them with toiletries and sleeping bags.
What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Loose Ends is a drop-centre in Newbury serving food to the homeless and vulnerable. It is run by over 80 volunteers who serve on average 140 meals a week and give over 6,000 hours a year of their time to help Loose Ends. The preparation and serving of healthy, hot meals is their main function but they also offer groceries, tins, toiletries and clean clothes to all those in need.
I'll be supporting this charity by participating in LOST 2019 organised by Vodafone Graduate Charity Committee. In this event, participants will be blindfolded and dropped in the middle of nowhere (up to 100 miles away) early in the morning and will have to find their way back to Vodafone HQ without spending any money by 8pm.
