Raising money for creative arts and culture
Raise money for your creative projects. From youth music funding to organising a dance or art class - we’ll help you raise money with support from your community.
There is never enough government funding to support all the creative arts and cultural programs that can benefit your community, meaning local authorities often have to decide what they support with very limited funds.
Crowdfunding provides a way for individuals and groups to raise money to support their creative arts and cultural projects. Whether that be paying for infrastructure, supplies or staff for events, it offers an alternative way to get your artistic project going.
Art for Brighton Birth Centre
Justine raised nearly £500 to pay for a specially designed piece of art to be created for the window of the Brighton Birth Centre, so that expectant mothers can enjoy it.
Dance workshops for refugees
The MegMazLadies Project needed £300 to fund a series of dance workshops for women seeking asylum in Leeds, to help them integrate into the community.
Thiruvarur wanted to provide two bursaries for young musicians from disadvantaged backgrounds who wouldn’t otherwise get the chance to pursue their music career.
