Down's Syndrome
Through Crowdfunding you could raise money for specialist equipment, support staff, or supplies to help improve the lives of those with Down's Syndrome
Around 775 babies each year in England and Wales are born with Down’s Syndrome. Caused by an extra copy of Chromosome 21 in a baby’s cells, Down’s Syndrome can result in decreased mobility and learning disabilities.
Families affected by Down’s Syndrome often use crowdfunding to pay for specialist support, treatment, facilities or equipment to help improve their loved ones’ quality of life and to help them lead more independent lives. Here are some of the fundraiser’s and their pages on JustGiving.
