Frequently asked questions
What happens if I don’t hit my target?
If you don't hit your target you'll still receive any funds you raised (minus some small fees), so you can still make good things happen. Our data shows that pages with targets raise more than those without, so it's good to have something to aim for.
Can I raise more than my target?
Of course! We'll send all the funds raised to you at the end of your funding period (minus some small fees). On average, people who hit their target do so after just six days, which leaves plenty of time to raise as much as possible.
What can I raise money for?
In short, anything that has a positive impact on individuals, communities and the environment. Most people use JustGiving Crowdfunding to help a friend in need. Not sure if it’s for you? Read our guidelines.
Why the limit?
A time limit adds urgency to your campaign, meaning more people will donate. Crowdfunding Pages usually raise most at the start and end of the campaign, so a shorter time limit keeps up the momentum, and you can choose any length between 30 and 120 days.
