I have started this crowdfunding page to try and raise the funds for my sisters ACL reconstruction surgery! 3 weeks ago she was training with her club when the worst happened! She found out recently that she had fully ruptured her ACL and torn her meniscus and requires the full reconstruction!

This has come at the worst possible time for her, after graduating university with a degree in Criminology and Forensic Investigation, she was excited for the start of her new career this month training to become a police officer. Due to this injury her start date has now been moved to March because of the lengthy wait she faces from the nhs, therefore I have set up this page in order to give Catherine the opportunity for a private operation to give her the best possible chance to recover fully and rehab in time for her start date within the police and to get back playing football next season.

Having gone through the same injury myself along with many other female footballers, I know what effect it can have on any player both mentally and physically and would love to see Catherine back on the road to recovery as quickly as possible! I have also seen her work harder than ever to get her degree to enable her to build a career and would not want to see this injury have an effect on that!
