Catherine and Dave recently rennovated their first family home on Salford Rd in Galgate. On 22nd November it was their daughter Eloise’s 1st birthday and they were happily celebrating with family and friends. Within the space of half an hour they became trapped in their home as the River Conder burst its banks. Thankfully, they were rescued by the local fire brigade. However, they returned the following day to find their home and over 12 months of rennovation work completely destroyed. They are now homeless.

After being witness to this harrowing event, Beth and I are aiming to raise money to help this family rebuild their lives. Christmas is almost upon us and we’d love it if people could give what they can to support this beautiful family; even just £5 towards nappies would be a really big help.
