Story
Recently we, the Chelmsford County High School for Girls bar mock team, received the exciting news that we have been selected to represent the U.K. in the international bar mock competition - Empire Mock Trial. The Empire Mock Trial will take place in the USA and consists of students presenting cases in a real courtroom in front of a real judge as barristers and witnesses.
As A-level students in a state school we need your donation to make it possible for us to represent our country. We would be extremely grateful for a donation of any size.
As women of the future, it is crucial for us to develop public speaking skills, to stand us in good stead for all walks of life. Through our unwavering dedication and relentless hard work we have managed to secure such a coveted position to represent the UK in the international bar mock competition, and your donation would make this possible.
We hope you will assist us in making this dream a reality.

6 years agoProgress for our trip is well underway with just over a month till we fly out! We have been having many rehearsals during and after school and have also organised a fundraiser talent show in school for last minute donations. Once again thanks everyone for your support and there will be more updates to come!

6 years agoOur team of 10 girls has been confirmed and parents have contributed a total of £5,000 so far. A massive thank you to Wortley Byers for their sponsorship and to all the donations so far. The location of the trial has been confirmed as New York and we will be participating in the trial in November! We have some fundraising events taking place soon and are still on the lookout for more sponsorships. Thank you for the support and we will keep you updated!
