    Story

    This is an urgent appeal to the community of Thundersley, Castle Point and the wider community of Essex and the UK to help a special needs children's school that has been victim of disgraceful and sad vandalism and animal cruelty :(

    On the evening of Saturday 20th August 2016, a group of people broke into Cedar Hall Special Needs School, vandalised the school and set their dog on the chickens -- they proceeded to ;

    Open the chicken runs and set a dog on 12 chickens -- killing them all.
    Break the locks off doors and gates
    Push down trees
    Damage the special needs playing area
    Tear down the expensive sun-shade
    Left drugs paraphernalia in the playing area

    This is a community school for special needs children and they do not have a large amount of funds, especially to fix expensive, specialist playing areas -- we have estimated the damage at £500.

    Your support and donations will help the school urgently fix the damage, make the school safe and secure, replace the much loved and looked after family of chickens -- that are pets and educational resources for the special needs children.

    We would also like to be able to consider having some CCTV installed to help prevent such a tragic criminal act occurring in the future :(

    Thank you so much for your support during this difficult time.

    THANK YOU!
