Story
The committee of the Centenary Hall have worked long and hard to keep the Hall open and have refurbished it to a high standard. However, they're now desperately needing help to buy a new central heating boiler before winter sets in. On behalf of the Tilly Ladies I'm appealing for help from friends far and wide. Let's show them once again what the people of Tillicoultry can do!

7 years ago£809.21 after fees deducted, plus cash given directly to the Hall committee & the Tilly Ladies, means we've raised £1500. Plus the collecting can in Sandra's shop had £183.40 in it. Our Bingo tea on the 27th should take us over the target figure of £2000 for the new boiler which has now been installed! I can only say thank you very much again to everyone who contributed towards this amazing figure of £1683.40!

7 years agoThe Tilly Ladies met with the Hall Committee on Thursday and they were telling us how grateful, and relieved, they are for your generosity. Without heat, and with winter approaching, they’re worried that they might lose bookings. If they lose bookings then the Hall can no longer function and would have to be returned to the Council. We all know what that would probably mean! With that in mind can I ask those who haven’t got round to donating yet to try and spare us a couple of pounds and to those who have already given, thank you very much!

7 years agoI'm delighted to report that we've almost reached the £500 mark for the Centenary Hall. Money has been coming in from all over the country and also from Poland and Canada! Once again everyone has been incredibly generous but we still have a long way to go so, if you can manage to donate £2, then it will be appreciated just as much as any higher figure. It all adds up. If you don't do online payments then Sandra has a collection can in Blades in the High Street or you can give the money to any of the Tilly Ladies. Thank you everyone!
