Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We the Central Cyclocross League are looking to raise £5000 to sponsor Helen Wyman during her 2017/18 season. Helen has been both european champion and national champion more times than i care to mention and has pushed to support and grow not just cyclocross the sport but the womens side of the sport as much as possible to give it the recognition it deserves.
If you follow cyclocross at all then you will know who Helen and her partner Stef are and how hard they work and also how ridiculously dedicated they are to the sport their sponsors and supporters. Now you have a chance to support Helen through the Central Cyclocross League by pledging anything from £5 to £5000 to see her race the UCI rounds with the best riders in the world and know you are also supporting your club and your sport on all levels.
If you are feeling generous and pass the £5k mark then we will look to reach the next level of £10k. There will be things coming back to the club which we sre currently discussing but these will appear on the facebook page etc soon. You all know this is a great oppurtunity not only for the club and all members but it shows we are truly behind our sport and its future.
More info will be available on the Central leagues Facebook page as we progress.
