As some of you may know, our good friend Ceri is currently battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that was found in her sinuses just before Christmas. Treatment is expected to last for at least 27 weeks and will initially consist of 9 rounds of chemo.

We've all been wondering how we can help Ceri through this and we thought that the best thing we could do was get together to raise some money by running the Bournemouth Bay Run in April 2018.

Some of us will be running the 10k and others will be running the half marathon. We all have different levels of running ability and experience but we're all running for the same cause.

The extent of Ceri’s treatment means that she will be spending a lot of time recovering at her home in London.

The funds raised will go towards paying the expenses and costs that arise from such the treatment and its side-effects.

Any funds raised that are left over will go towards causes that are close to Ceri's heart.
