Story
My daughter is type 1 and we have to self fund for some things for her health care. With her starting high school and going it alone we are scared stiff and want to make this transition as easy as possible for her as she will not have the support from TA's as she does now. This medical equipment will alarm her when her blood sugers are dropping or rising preventing what could in fact cause her to go into a coma. She is unaware I would say 90% of the time when she is low and this is scaring her the thought of high school without the support . We would like to get her one just for her first year at least till she gets used to it on her own .

6 years agoSo we have been on the g5 for a bit now thanks to a charity who has helped us off too start with and get her used too it before school started, And wow we are loving it. We didn't realize how many hypos she was having in night which was scary but we have now altered things so getting better and better everyday. Angels transition days were great and made us all a lot more relaxed. We couldn't off done this without you all. And it looks like now we have a campaign up and running too help all the children on island maybe me doing this has helpedx
