Since 2014, Jenny Ta worked in the University of Greenwich's Faculty of Business as a Standards and Partnerships Officer, overseeing registration of students based in the University's overseas partners, in addition to looking after partners in Vietnam and Malaysia. She quickly became an asset to the Faculty, and her work was appreciated greatly by colleagues, and staff in the University's partners.

In the office, Jenny happily assisted colleagues with their work at peak times during the year, putting herself forward at every opportunity to aid in the wider activities within the University; always with a smile. 

In December 2016 Jenny went on maternity leave, giving birth to baby Noah the following January, with partner Ian. In the summer of 2017, Jenny was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

She lived graciously and courageously with it, visiting colleagues in the office because she missed the great friends she had made and, in true Jenny fashion, asking if there was anything she could do to help colleagues with their work.

Sadly, in late May 2018, more than 6 months into her fight with cancer, Jenny passed away. Jenny was a key contributor to the University's success. University staff will miss not only a wonderful colleague, but a friend.

Colleagues and friends of Jenny have setup this page to help raise funds for Jenny's family, in particular her partner, Ian and baby son, Noah, whom had turned one year old in January of this year.
