I have been challenged to give up chocolate for a whole month!! For those that know me for the complete chocoholic I am, this will be one of the hardest things I have ever done. I love a challenge though, so if I am doing this I would like to raise much needed money for two worthy causes;

Addenbrookes Charitable Trust - For the amazing on-going work of the Rosie Hospital, for women's neonatal and maternity services who were instrumental in the care of baby Willow, the daughter of my friends Laura and Chris.

Willow was born at just 27 weeks and cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Rosie until she was well enough to be transferred closer to home.

Charitable support helps make a difference for women, babies and their families by helping to deliver additional state-of-the-art equipment. specialist staff, extra comforts and research.

Clarks Farm Greyhound Rescue - for the amazing work they do in the care, rehabilitation and re-homing of ex racing greyhounds. They provided amazing support to Lisa and I and were instrumental in our quest to become qualified Veterinary Physiotherapists for which I can not thank them enough.

Many people do not realise that greyhounds make excellent family pets. They are gentle, loving and adapt to home life easily. Contrary to common belief they are actually very lazy and only need two 20 minute walks each day. When re-homed responsibly they can live with other breeds of dogs and other pets such as cats.

Please support me in raising as much as possible for these two great charities. If you see me in March, please keep me away from ALL chocolate!!
