My name is Andrea and I will be going to Calais on the 8th of January.

Since the demolition of the camp, many refugees are sleeping on the streets without shelter in freezing weather conditions.

I am hoping to take a car load of blankets, sleeping bags and men's coats, joggers, shoes etc to donate to the organisations 'help refugees' and 'care4calais'. I will also be volunteering in the warehouse (along with many others) to help organise the distribution of the donations to refugees all over.

The Calais warehouse continues to operate every day getting aid. They have built an amazing infrastructure and hope to continue to support refugees in France and beyond (to counties such as Syria) from this hub over the months to come, as long as there is need.

Help Refugees and Care4Calais are in need of funds as well as donations, so I have set up this page hoping to raise as much money as possible for them.
