Think Pacific Foundation is a registered charity in Fiji and in England and Wales. They have guided over 1000 international volunteers to Fiji since their first project in July 2009. Their volunteers lead education, extracurricular and sports for over 20,000 children each year.

Over one third of children in Fiji grow up in poverty, living on less than one dollar a day. Only 50% of children have access to safe drinking water and proper sanitation.

Think Pacific replenish school resources, provide teacher training, help to rebuild essential facilities and increase standards in education, extracurricular activities and sports.

To achieve my goal of volunteering and supporting the project in Fiji, I am aiming to raise £500 towards the charity. The project itself costs around £1200-of which around £600 covers my accommodation and living expenses, and other personal costs, which I am paying for myself- I would therefore like to fundraise the remaining costs, which will be used to support the children in Fiji directly.
