My name is Charlotte and I need your support to get me to the National Youth Theatre.
Back in February I auditioned for NYT and yesterday I was blessed with an email telling me I have a place on their epic stages course. Given that 5000 people apply every year, this really is an amazing achievement and I am grateful to everyone who's been part of the journey to get me this far. However, I am now faced with the task of raising £2500 to cover my fees, accommodation and living expenses. This is why I am asking you to support my journey. Anyone who knows me knows that the theatre is my life - playwriting, criticism, acting, dance - you name if, i've tried it. The theatre is the one place where I can fully embrace my creativity with confidence. Being in the theatre world and living with anxiety is hard, but somehow acting helps me tackle my anxiety head on and lets me know that I am not my anxiety. This is one of the best opportunities that I could ever be offered and as I am 24, there is no longer the option to 'apply again next year'. This will open so many doors for me and I cannot let it slip away. To put it bluntly, if I am unable to raise this money, I will not be able to go to NYT.
So, I am asking you to support me to raise £2500 by July 7th to make my dream a reality.
