Animals play a huge role in my daily life .I remember the first time I was made aware of the plight of bears across the globe, from the those forced to languish in tiny cages providing bile, to those forced to perform unnatural behaviours in the circus, zoos and outside restaurants for the entertainment of the public. From this first exposure I decided that for my 40th birthday I would fundraise and volunteer my time at an accessible sanctuary. This turns out to be the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Romania!
