Hi, both myself and my twin brother are 20 years old and love to play wheelchair football. I have a condition called cerebral palsy spastic diplegia. My brother has cerebral palsy hemiplegia effecting the left side of his body.

We both have a passion for wheelchair football and have been playing for a team called Swindon Rockets for 8 years now. We could not imagine our lives without playing it. To us it‘s not just a sport we play. It’s brought us both a lot more. When we are playing it makes us feel like we have a sense of belonging and that we can do all that able bodies can do. Most importantly we feel accepted and not different.

With the competition increasing we need your help and support in order for us to carry on playing the sport we love to the best of our ability. Can you help us?

The WFA has recently released the news that the new chairs are allowed to be used within our league! We need your help to get our new chairs so that we are able to keep up with the speed of our competitors.

Every donation made will mean we are one step closer in achieving our dream of showing the world that no matter what disability you have you can do anything you want to do when you set your mind to it!
