Victims of domestic violence, we here that alot these days but nobody really talks about the children. Children that come from situations where there mother or father have been a victim of domestic abuse suffer too. Due to personal experience i was in a refuge due to domestic violence along with my two children. The refuge has a youth club once a week just for the kids, i cant express enough how this helps the children, for them to be around others that have experienced simular situations and not be judged or thought of as different but for them to hang out together, make life long friends, but most importantly just get to be children again. My local refuge has recently had trouble with funding from goverment cuts, council etc but the two amazing ladys that run the youth club are still going, they have restrictions now due to funding but still have the kids once a week. I wanted to raise a bit of money as a suprise so these ladys can maybe take these amazing kids for a nice day out during the school holidays. Im not asking much just maybe a trip to the cinemas or a nice meal. These kids deserve it so please share and thankyou so much for reading.
