Richard (33) and Loretta (30) have been together 12 years and married for 6 years. They have 3 Children together, Callum 10, Lillianna 8 and Sophia 5. Sophia was born in 2011 with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus, she is disabled from the chest down.
Richard was found to have a brain tumour in 2012 after months of being unwell and having strange episodes which turned out to be Epilepsy. End of November 2012 he had a debunk of the tumour and 98% of it was removed and graded a grade 1. After an MRI scan 2 months later, it was found to have grown a little so was re-graded to a grade 2 and given 6 weeks of intense Radiotherapy. This treatment stopped growth, but in August 2016, Richard fell ill but symptoms were much worse.
MRI in September 2016 had shown full regrowth of the tumour and also spreading. October 2016, Richard had another debunk, having only 90% removed (was the same amount removed as last time but were unable to remove the parts that had spread).
November 2016 is when they got the news that Richard's tumour was now malignant and terminal, giving him a prognosis of only 2 years.
We want to raise funds for them to have family days out, a holiday, and towards Richard's bucket list.
