Story
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Chipstead Football Club has lost important revenue during a very essential part of our season. Cancelling of all matches, social events, squads training sessions and Saturday Soccer School has meant a significant reduction in the money used for:
* Reinstatement of our 5 pitches and training area for all ages for next season
* Improve facilities in the closed season for the 450+ visitors to our ground each week
* Purchase equipment for next seasons new teams
Every penny raised will be spent on these much needed causes to maintain and improve the experience for so many people.
CHIPSTEAD FC HISTORY
Chipstead FC is a grassroots football club established in 1906. During the football season over 300 players represent the club on a weekly basis from the age of under 7 all the way to Walking Football team. Our Saturday Soccer School has been established for over 15 years with a prominent place in the local community.
Nearly 20 teams wear the club colours of green and white hoops with pride along with all of the volunteer managers and coaches associated with these teams.
Our younger youth teams include high numbers of long serving players who started their football journey with Chipstead FC at a very young age or Saturday Soccer School..
The Senior 1st Team compete in the Isthmian League (step 4) along with our midweek U18’s in the Samba Isthmian Youth League. Our pathway throughout the club is well established with U18 players gaining match experience with our Seniors 1st Team on a regular basis.
Chipstead FC has historically had high levels of facilities, with pitches that are amongst the best in the county, we are keen to maintain these standards for all going forward.
