My name is Chloe and I am a 3rd year Adult Nursing student in Edinburgh Napier University.

For my University placement I will be going to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania in February 2017 for four weeks.
The elective is being done through a company called work the world. This is a registered company that gives people the chance to volunteer abroad helping poverty stricken countries. www.worktheworld.com

I am running a 10km to help raise money on the 2nd of october in Glasgow.

The money I hope to raise will go towards any medical supplies we hope to bring over, clothes to donate and toys.

The work I hope to do out there is to help the nursing staff and pass them some knowledge we have learned from university.
We will also be volunteering at orphanages and so would hope to bring clothes to these young children/infants too.

This will be an opportunity of a lifetime and every little donation will certainly help.
