Hey guys,

We are SASS, a group of females that have come together and formed a female collective, to raise awareness for people who have suffered/are suffering from sexual abuse, prejudice for being a woman, or just any daily struggles we as women face. In order to create a platform of awareness we have produced an event to go ahead in March, in conjunction with International Women's Day.

The event will include an immersive art exhibition with live installations, performance art, spoken word and a disco themed party to finish. We will also be hosting workshops throughout the evening to help promote new creative skills for women.

All work/workshops throughout the night will explore themes of sexual abuse, female empowerment and body ownership. We want to create a space for women to come together and feel safe and supported within the community.

We feel super passionate about this cause, we as females have been subjects to certain issues that have inspired us to create this event, all money raised from ticket and merchandise sales will go to a local South London Womens Charity.

We have very kindly been given the amazing new space Omeara in Borough to host the event in, however we still need to raise money in order to secure the gallery space for our artists to display their work in the best possible way. We are hoping to create an immersive experience for our audience members - this means we will be looking for various art materials and resources in order for this to happen.
