We are trying to raise money to help a 7 year old boy. He has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He has botox injections and is on medication which would both stop if he were to have an operation that we are fundraising for called SDR treatment (selective dorsal rhizotomy). This operation is not funded by the NHS. The cost of the operation is £14,500. His family have been told by his consultant from Leeds Hospital, that they need to raise £20,000 before he can have the operation, as after care will be needed such as extra physio equipment and hydrotherapy. His family have recently raised some funds to purchase an adapted bike, this is to help with physio and build his muscles back up.

He currently attends swimming lessons at Sneyd Community Association.
