Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
I am fundraising towards a once in a lifetime trip to India with Girlguiding Sussex East in August 2017. I will be spending 9 days at Sangam World Centre, working on a community action project, learning about Indian culture, and developing skills and friendships. After Sangam, we are touring the famous sights across India for 5 days.
One of my main fundraising challenges will be walking from Brighton Pier to Eastbourne Pier in January 2017. This 22 mile walk along the coast will be a challenge, but worth it!
It has long been a dream of mine to visit the WAGGGS World Centres, and this is the start of that journey. I hope to fundraise as much as possible to cover the costs of this trip, and therefore would be grateful for any support.

8 years agoOnly 100 days left to donate! Unfortunately my walk will be after the 100 day cut off as justgiving limits the length of crowdfunding pages to 120 days. However I'll update you all on facebook as the journey goes on and when the day of my quest arrives!

8 years agoYesterday I conquered the walk around Bewl Water resevoir, walking 12/13 miles (depending on the sign) in only 4 hours and 20 minutes! The walk is said to take an average of 6 hours, so I hope this is a good sign in prep for my pier walk! Thanks to Emma for being my hiking buddy :)
