Story
A group of parents are running in the Burgess Hill 10km race on May 7th to raise money for a canopy for the Forest School area. The canopy is based on a pulley system, enabling one teacher to erect it independently. This canopy will enable the area to be used all year around as an outdoor classroom, not just for Forest School. Research has shown that learning outdoors increases pupils attention, concentration and motivation.
