Story
On 19th November 2016 we sadly lost my uncle David Watts (Dave the Wave) following a long and exhausting battle with a rare form of cancer.
The Three Peaks Challenge is a memorial and fundraising event that a selection of my cousins, family members and close friends of my uncle will be undertaking on 2nd June.
With the aim of reaching the summits of Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowden within 24 hours. The three tallest peaks in the United Kingdom.
The charities we have chosen to support through this event and with funds raised by the Dave the Wave Foundation from a variety of other fundraising events, projects and endeavors are:
Oakhaven Hospice
Macmillian Cancer Centre (Southampton Hosptial)
MS Society
Three well deserving charities and organizations that helped my Uncle and family greatly during his period of illness.
Fundraising events and projects are vital in funding cancer research in the UK and its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating the illness. By sponsoring and supporting us we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
One day we will beat cancer, help us make it sooner.

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf on everyone in our team undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge next month for your support in our fundraising efforts for this event. Following our completion of challenge the funds raised from this and other projects will be distributed between our three chosen charities so that may continue their research into cancer treatments and efforts to support and aid those through their illness. Thanks again, Three Peaks Team :)
