Story
After his retirement from the Financial Times, Chris spent a good deal of his time working along his local rivers, the Ravensbourne, Pool and Quaggy, with the Nature's Gym team at the London Borough of Lewisham, the river NGO Thames21 and lots of great people that give their time to the Ravensbourne and Thames river catchments. This bench is already in situ within Ladywell Firlds and at the end of Malyons Road, where he lived. We will refurbish the bench, as it is in a beautiful spot, and inscribe it in his memory. Chris tragically died in 2017 after a short illness and his passing has left a void which is still felt strongly today. This is a broad appeal to all that knew him and who experienced his generosity and kindness.

I still have your Swiss army knife safely in my bag and use it often! A little piece of you has been with me on every event! Missing you.
