Story
We now have 5 defibrillators in the village. These machines save life’s but are also costly to maintain. We are aiming to raise fund to keep these valuable machines up and running.
A couple of weeks ago a fellow villager Andre Chennery found himself in a situation where the difibrilator on the side of the community Center was used on him. Andre went in to cardiac arrest and his quick thinking neighbour grabbed the defib and began cpr. After 2 shocks of the defib Andre began to show signs of life and made a successful recovery. He was told numerous times that without this machine the outcome would have been very different .
