Freddie, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2016. But since then his Nueromuscular consultant thinks he is more of the Becker MD scale, this basically means hopefully a slower progression of muscle wasting. His body cannot produce Dystrophin, this repairs muscle damage, as he can't produce it tge muscles waste usually starting with the legs as we use them more... I could go on and on but you get the jist. Most boys with Duchenne don't make their 20th Birthday, Becker is less life limited but is still shorter than normal.
