Story
LET’S GET LEGAL TO SAVE OUR VILLAGES....
The number of objections already posted on the official Council website are encouraging. However, we need to increase the pressure on the planning committee to improve our chances of success.
A Haselor based London Lawyer, who has personal experience of similar planning situations, has recommended that we seek support from a specialist planning lawyer, particularly as there appear to be breaches of planning law on the application.
These need to be pointed out professionally to the planning committee.
The planning lawyers are agreeing to cap their fees at a total of £2280 inc VAT, as long as matters do not become more complicated and time consuming.
A number of Haselor residents, including ourselves, have already agreed to contribute; if for example, everyone on the Grafton Residents page contributed in equal amounts ( 160 people at last count), this will only be £14.25 each!
If you feel that this issue is as important to safeguarding our countryside as we do, please contact Patrick Somers directly to confirm your agreement to contribute.Stop the Croft Lane Power Station

We are raising funds to put a legal case together to fight the company who want to build a power station at the bottom of Croft lane. We need to raise £2400 and there is another page also collecting so I will reduce the amount required as the other site goes up .
