I'm running the Market Drayton 10k on Sunday 7th of may 2017 to raise money for our church ,which is over 900 years old and situated in Shrewsbury. Until recently it has sat in the middle of acres of farmland. For the past 30 years the farmer was kind enough to allow us to use some of his land on occasion for access, church fates etc and he also allowed us to use the farms outside toilet. Unfortunately the land surrounding the church has now been sold and is now being developed into a housing estate.We desperately need to raise funds to purchase some land.We need this land so we can put facilities such as toilets, a kitchen and a small cemetery.This church is not only special to me because of it's age and history, but because one of the founders was my auntie who passed away 9 years ago.
