There are times in our lives where we only manage to get by with a little help from our friends. My friend Lucy needs that help right now so I am asking you all if you could help me to help her.

Lucy was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer last July, 6 months later, in January she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, 2 Primary Cancers is harsh on anyone! 4 major surgeries later, she is about to undergo a month of daily Radiotherapy whilst remaining working full time. She used her works sick leave for the Bowel Cancer and has had to use annual leave for 2 major breast surgeries as her wages will be reduced to half pay if she has anymore sick leave. We can all guess the financial stress that would put her under!

I have managed to raise money to help pay travel costs for the Radiotherapy treatment but what I would like to do is raise more to enable her time off work stress free from worrying about how she will afford the bills. More importantly it will give her the chance to spend time trying to get well again and cope with the punishing regime of Radiotherapy rather than going to work.

I know how kind you all are and if you can consider giving a little, then between us all we can give a lot. For Lucy, it would be everything.
