Story
5k a day for Noah and Gracie
I am taking part in a challenge to commit to 5 kilometres every day in March 2017, along with my fellow GB officers from Downshire GB to raise funds to help support two very special children, Noah and Gracie Coates.
Noah and Gracie both suffer from an extremely rare life limiting disease called Vanishing White Matter, a form of leukodystrophy which causes the white matter on the brain to deteriorate. At present there is no cure. Noah and Gracie are believed to be the only two cases in Northern Ireland and they have to travel to Amsterdam for MRI scans and consultations with their specialist.

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored for this challenge. Between our 5k a day challenge, a non uniform night in GB and our coffee morning the total raised was £1700!!
