Story
EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRSUMSTANCES
Cameron, was diagnosed with a DIPG brain tumour in January 2017. He is only 12 .
Aside from one round of radiotherapy, the NHS do not offer or fund any other treatments.
After much research, the family found a clinic in Mexico offer pioneering treatment (inter-arterial chemo and immunotherapy). Results are very promising ad the family strongly believes that the treatment could make Cameron better.
The estimated cost of treatment is £300,000. Cameron travelled to Mexico in September and is showing good progress, but it is vital he is able to complete treatment.
We hope that lots of crazy folks will run into the freezing cold Irish Sea on Boxing Day 2017. We promise to post pictures, and perhaps a video or two! Please support the event with anything you can afford, no donation is too small.
This horrible disease could affect anyone of our children - by donating even a small amount - you could bring hope to Cameron and his family.
