Every year 100's of 1000's of elderly people are alone in their homes without regular visitors or family to support them. At Christmas this can be a particularly lonely and distressing time as they are left to feel very isolated and forgotten. Our aging community have an increasing rate of depression in their later years and this can be avoided by simple acts of kindness.

Research has shown the giving of a gift or hamper can often be the gateway to them reaching out for help and support. This is why campaigns like this are so important. There are so many services that are available; befriending, shopping, cooking, cleaning and so much more.

So, this Christmas I am running a local community campaign to create Personal Care Gift Sets from products that I sell (no profit is gained) and I also add in additional items and local businesses will be providing me with food also. I need donations of ideally £20 for each gift set or any money at all to help create them would be so appreciated. I will also be happy to attach a gift card from you with your name and a simple message.

So far I have raised 22 Gift sets and they look amazing !! I have been in touch with Age Concern who are thrilled with them and they will be helping me to place them with the right recipient. Thats 22 people who will get the best surprise before Christmas, who will know that there is someone who cares and hopefully will gain access to the services they need most..

I have just 3 weeks left to get my orders placed and the gift sets completed and sent to Age Concern. Please Please Help me, Help them :)

The greatest lesson in life is to be a giver... Teach your children to give too, all my children want to donate £20 of their christmas money too.
