Well the ride has been done, and the ride has been varified by the IBAuk and sits as an E2E Daylight, 840 miles in 17hrs. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control, the return leg via the M25 had to be called off as there was nowhere that could, or would, replace a rear tyre without the wheel first being removed . I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind donations, and the page is still open for another 2 weeks if anyone feels generous ;)

well folks, what can i say apart from thank you all from the bottom of my heart, the "up" run was a blast, Land`s End to John O`Groats in 16h53 minutes without issues, even the roadworks were kind to us. the "down" run however , was a different story, Tyre degradation meant we had to call time-out on the gold run as me rear tyre had squared off by the return to Inverness, so it was down graded to a std down run, by the time we had arrived at Perth, the tyre was showing signs of coming apart, so my attempt was over. 1743 miles in 58hrs
