Story
This justgiving account has been set-up for the benefit of St John the Baptist Church in Hatherleigh, along with the whole community. We want to install toilets, a kitchen and improve disability facilities but have been held up by our last buildings report which highlighted the need for major repairs on the church tower. To draw attention to those needs we imagined the idea of inviting the community to join in with a sponsored abseil down the tower. Our actual needs are much higher than what has been put on here but we are grateful for any donation received.
