Crawley Leukaemia Research are a local charity group dedicated to helping fund research into leukaemia.

We have now joined forces with Professor Chris Pepper and Andrea Pepper, who lead a groundbreaking team researching blood cancers at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.

Chris and Andrea have designed a unique circulation pump which allows them to investigate how the cancer cells move out of the blood stream and invade other parts of the patient. This is important because the leukaemia cells only grow when they leave the blood and enter special parts of the body called lymph nodes.

We are trying to raise as much money as possible to fund this research, and specifically to purchase two (or more) of the above mentioned circulation pumps. The more pumps the team have, the more research they can do!

The people involved in this project, many personally effected by blood cancers directly or indirectly, have seen money wasted by charity groups instead of going directly to the places it's so desperately needed. This is our chance to help beat cancer in the most direct way possible. All money we raise WILL go directly to this innovative research.
