Sick of charities sucking up funds like a hoover and sitting on profits or paying extortionate boss wages want to help set a new standard for businesses.
I have a wide range of skills, a supervisor and manager background, experience in waste management, recycling, retail, fast food & customer service. Throughout these companies/roles I have noticed it has always been about profits and nothing else, staff treated unfairly, unfair contracts, low wage/hourly rate, 0 hour contracts, and companies not going by there own policies, all this has been digging at me since I first started working, so I want to create a company that will set the bar in helping the community, economy, people, wildlife and environment.
I believe companies and charities can do more than they do for their cause, staff, environment and community, Other than providing a service or selling goods there is not much benefit to the local communities or people and seems to me the public always lose out.
I believe councils & government can do more, we should be doing redevelopments not new developments, repairing not replacing, reusing/recycling not throwing away.
I am creating a website to sell reusable items to start the website off I will be donating everything I have no use of to it, this is a business idea that will be public not profit focused, especially since it will be funded by the public.I don't really know about starting this fundraiser but hey ill not know if i don't try Can you Help?
The funds are the minimal amount required in creating this project, vehicle purchased to help with all aspects of the project and initially woodland/land purchase, once we have the woodland/land we can then arrange training and the purchase of the Bees and Hives.
I am also in the process of building a facebook page for all updates concerning the project
