Story
Armathwaite play park is in need of refurbishment. The parish council have been great at applying for funding, some of the funding requires the community to raise some of the money.
A group of Dads, family, friends and villagers are planning to tackle the infamous Coast 2 Coast in order to raise funds for the play area. They are going to cycle from Whitehaven to Tynemouth in 2 days totalling 145 miles over the Easter weekend.
All the children within the village and surrounding areas would benefit from having a wonderful outdoor space to play in. Please sponsor our wonderful group of cyclists for their bike ride and in turn our village and children to gain a safe outdoor play space.
Thanks.

4 years agoHello, Due to the global pandemic, the ride didn’t take place during April. The ride is still going to go ahead, but the date hasn’t been confirmed. If you are happy for your donation go still go to the park that would be great, if you would like the donation returned please message me. Thanks, Clair.
