Story
Claire O’Neil’s Young Carers Consultancy is PASSIONATE about raising awareness about Young Carers in Scotland.
Our aim is to raise funds to provide much needed Holiday Breaks for Young Carers aged 8 – 18 years
A Young Carer looks after someone usually in their family, be it parents, siblings who have a physical Illness, Disability, Mental Health, Addiction to Drugs or Alcohol
Our first Holiday Break will take place in May this year for 20 Young Carers in Ayrshire. It will give Young Carers the chance to have fun, relax and be a child/young person for the weekend and have a break from their caring role
If your are interested in helping us to raise funds you can join our ‘FUN ALONG’ – do something FUN for half an hour in your home or outside and PLEDGE A POUND OR MORE and spread the word

Dear Friends a Big Thank you for all your support through this fund raising medium. Along with other contributions we raised 398.00. We are on our way to our target to raise £2,000 this year to take 20 Young Carers away on a weekend holiday break in Girvan this year.
