In June I will be heading off to India as part of the Saphara team where I will be teaching in schools in some of the poorest, most deprived areas in India. Education is at the heart of all that Saphara does in India. The charity Saphara believe that education is the key to empowering young people from disadvantaged communities to escape from poverty. Each of the schools involved in the project provides an education which values and affirms young people, giving both girls and boys the chance to flourish. The money raised from this raffle will be going directly to the charity for those children to gain a better education. For many an education is taken for granted and so the work that we will carry out in India will change the lives of many children. All donations regardless of how big or small are all very much appreciated and again will be going directly to help the children.
