In April 2013 my husband Cpl Paul William Turner passed away after a short aggressive brain illness. At the time our eldest daughter Neve was three and I was pregnant with our youngest daughter Eva who was born after Paul died. All of Paul's family received amazing support from his beloved regiment The Queen's Royal Hussars through this awful time and now we would like to give something back to help others in similar situations. I have used fitness as a way of coping with grief staying positive and continuing to enjoy life so I have chosen to take part in an event called Born Survivor with some of Paul's close family and friends. This is a military obstacle course in the Lake District which will take place on September 9th 2017. All money we raise will be donated to The Queen's Royal Hussars benevolent fund. We would really appreciate any donations you can make to us for completing this event.
