In March this year, I lost my 3 children to the care of the local authority. For the first time in my life, I had the biggest wake up call I could of ever imagined. For years I was emotionally unavailable due to childhood trauma and I have spent 11 years in domestic violent relationships and its been a rollercoaster for my mental health. Since having a diagnosis mental health Services discharged me back into the care of my GP, while i was put on a waiting list for CBT. Since having my children removed from my care the court decided I was in need of a full pychological assessment which i attended in June. The psychologist report states I need trauma therapy to be delivered by a top clinical phycologist. I was told i would have the opportunity to have my children back after 8/24 weeks of therapy but the local authority are refusing to fund this and I was in no position to pay privately. Unfortunately Healthy Minds have also informed me that the therapy I need is not available on the NHS, so this has left me no choice but to try and raise funds towards my therapy and show the courts how willing I am to get the help I need to recover and be a mother to my children. One of the companys i have found is Morency based in Alvechurch. I have now had to take out a loan to fund this therapy as I needed it as soon as possible. I am now left to pay back a loan that I am going to struggle to pay back but I couldn't put cost on my children. I had no choice but to take it upon myself to fund the therapy. I am asking for donations made will help me to repay this loan that I am using to pay for my trauma therapy at morency in the hope that my children are returned to my care. I'm so grateful for the donations so far.
