After the fantastic efforts of Alan and Joe running the Liverpool Marathon earlier in the. year for this charity, it is now our turn! Ian and I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon on 15th October 2017 for the Wirral and North Cheshire Prostate Cancer Support Group, who our dad has been actively involved with, having had Prostate Cancer himself a few years ago.

The support group was formed in 2005 and is now one of the largest in the North West of England. The group offers support and information to men and their families affected by Prostate Cancer. The group organises monthly meetings with guest speakers who are often specialists in treating Prostate Cancer. The meetings provide an excellent forum for members to share experiences, worries or concerns. The group also fundraises for the local Cancer treatment centres.
