At Coalburn Pipe Band we are committed to the development of youth.

We have a number of young players within the band and to ensure that they progress, we need to continually invest in instruments, equipment and uniforms (if only they would stop growing......). Their development is key to the future of the band.

We don't have a sponsor and are reliant on fund raising carried out by band members, their families and supporters of the band in order to ensure that we keep moving forward. Without these efforts, the band would cease to exist

In that regard, a group of us will be taking part the Great Scottish Run on Sunday 1st of October, running either the 10km event or half marathon. This will be a massive challenge, for many taking part it will be the first time they have participated in an official race
